Is it waterproof? Can I swim with it?

We won't claim that our tape is waterproof like other brands, as contact with water or sweat on your body can promote bacterial growth, increasing the risk of skin allergies and reducing the tape's durability. Our priority is to keep your skin safe from harm, so we advise against prolonged exposure to moisture.

However, you can take a shower with it. Our tape is suitable for swimming. To ensure the best results, we recommend applying the tape ahead of time and keeping it dry for 12-24 hours before swimming. And make sure it’s not coming unstuck at the edges before swimming. Please replace it immediately after swimming. Replace the tape promptly after swimming, as seawater and pool water contain a lot of bacteria. If not replaced in time, it can lead to allergies and other skin problems.

What size should I order?

There is no size for chest tape. The only difference is the width. For those with large chests, we recommend buying 5-inch tapes. If your chests are not very large, all widths are applicable.

In addition, the small-width tape can be used for edge repair. When the ends of the tape start to peel off, you can cut off the ends that aren’t sticking anymore and then put more tape with a small-width to stick it back down.

How long can I wear a chest tape?

We’d say use it as long as your skin feels fine. Once it gets itchy, it’s time to get it off before any blisters form. If you’re less sweaty and don’t have super sensitive skin, a couple of days or a week should be fine. Just listen to what your skin tells you.

You can change it every few days. It’s best to allow your skin to breathe for a while before reapplying.

Pretty good for what it is

As far as I'm concerned, this stuff works beautifully. It can take a little trial and error which is stressful because it's kind of pricey, though. It works much better than a binder for me, as someone with a larger chest I was worried it would not help much but it was surprisingly effective. Made me feel much more comfortable in whatever I was wearing, much more open to moving freely, and much more comfortable in my skin when sleeping, showering, and working out. I did have some minor issues with it not sticking which was frustrating but it varied piece to piece for some reason. As far as taking it off, it leaves my skin very tender and pretty itchy, and if I scratch it it bleeds almost instantly, but that's not a big deal to me - worth it for the product, and easily avoidable: just don't scratch it! It definitely leaves residue from the adhesive but that's just bound to happen if the adhesive is good, which it is. I haven't tried any other brands of binding tape, so I can't make any comparison, but I liked this stuff a lot and would say it's a good choice if you're looking for stuff that works and don't mind the irritation.
