SWIM Chest Binder CB19 Air Mesh With Front Zip

I got the binder not necessarily to leave me flat chested but cause I have large breasts that gives me terrible sensory issues, all the sports bras would compress the breasts to the ‘middle’ in a weird shape, after trying the binder I felt an immediate relief, my figure look WAY more natural and it’s way more comfortable. My measurements are 112cm and got the 3XL, it doesn’t leave me flat chested but still it reduces A LOT (hope the details help someone who wants it even tighter). Took me a long time to make the purchase and now I regret not doing it sooner. Also the internal hooks inside the zipper version are a small but genius detail, it gives a huge help, specially if you’re getting a tighter one.

i used the websites size system and it recomended size 5xl, this ended up being too small and its slightly uncomfortable under my arms, which was odd because the same measurements told me the bigger size for the other binders i bought and they fit perfectly.
the zipper is very helpful in putting the binder on and taking it off, however there isnt anything under the zipper head so it irritates the skin on my chest, ive started wearing it partly unzipped so the head is on top of the dress hook where there is fabric between the binder and my chest.
otherwise i really enjoy it and it does compress my chest very comfortably.

My binder came in perfect condition and I loved the cute bag it came in! It fits perfectly and flattens me out nicely!

I'm working with 14G cup size so I didn't have high expectations, but the binder is comfortable and i feel really good swimming in it! it doesnt bind as flat as my daily binders but i can swim safely this Christmas and that's what matters. looks flat underneath loose clothing and very breathable, so great for summer.

so the short version - this has brought me gender euphoria in a way other binders haven’t it’s now my preferred binder, and i’m thinking of getting a second in another color. it could be better (especially adding skin tones for people who aren’t white or light-skinned).

the long version:
my chest size is 36C, kind of the density and shape of a half-full water balloon, and this flattens really well for me. i use the lift-and-scoop method to move my chest mass and create a more even shape. i can wear loose shirts with few, if any, qualms with the appearance of my chest.

i use this binder mainly as a regular binder, not for swimming. the first time i put it on with a medium weight cotton button-up shirt it was absolutely euphoric 🌈

i find it easy to get the binder on (my over-the-head binder of a different brand would cause dysphoria for me due to the compressing and moving around of my tissue necessary to pull it on) but you do have to visually see down in order to fasten the hook-and-eye closure, if that causes you dysphoria.

i absolutely adore the neckline and tank style. i can wear lower/wider cut tops without the binder showing which is a major plus for me. ⭐️

once it’s on, except for the below two points, i generally would forget it’s there. i find it to be quite comfortable.

upon first wash and wear, the edge of the small flap of fabric behind the hook-and-eye closure was scratchy to my skin. that could be improved. i didn’t notice it after the first wear.

i would say, it is comfortable for a few hours. after that, the front armhole starts digging into my skin.

i wish that the zipper pull was more low profile, because if you wear it with a shirt over it, it creates a visible bump in the fabric. that and the black color of the zipper pull wrap makes it stand out more - although i haven’t worn it swimming, i could imagine this is even more pronounced if your swim top is wet and light-colored.

i generally have a qualm with washing instructions that say to hand wash for such an essential garment - this is not just for this binder and company.

and finally, i really wish that WIVOV would offer this in more skin tones besides just for white & light-skinned people. it’s inclusive, it’s accessible, and we all deserve to have options that suit us!
